Pictures from my run.

The first place Danny held my hand.

The apartment my husband lived in when we were dating.

Recently, I have felt like Utah hasn't looked so pretty. I've noticed as the snow has melted, everything looks dead. Yuck. I went for a run today, and I challenged myself to find some beauty. The sun itself makes me happy, but I made it my job to take pictures of things on my run that made me smile. It was crazy how many things I saw that I loved. There were a few places that brought back memories with loved ones, and a couple other things that I just had to document. If there is anyone reading this post, try to go the next 24 hours and notice the beauty in your daily life. Just being cautious of the scenery around you will bring you so much insight and happiness- I promise.
Peace out yo.

This is Danny and my engagement video. Hailey Devine created it with Haugen Creative. We had so much fun filming it and playing in the park together! Hailey and her crew are so amazing. Follow her adorable blog at SomethingDevineBlog.com. Her videos are so perfect. This video makes me happy!

Isabel Marants

I love my Isabel Marants. I have been loving the sneaker wedge trend for over a year now, but every pair I would try on in the stores never convinced me. I have always had my eye on the original Isabel Marant sneaker wedge but was never able to fork out the cash for them. After a very stressful month of midterms, I treated myself to these beauties. I love them! And I kinda love cheetah print. Oh, and I really love this man.

I love you like a mango

MANGOS. (According to Websters... both Mangoes and Mangos are accepted spelling.. FYI). Mangos are one of my favorite foods. As you can see, they are also a favorite of these little Indian children. These beautiful souls hold a special place in my heart. I loved spending time with them and catching a little bit of their spirits via canon camera. A simple fruit was their savory treat a couple times a week! I love India. I love Mangos.

Live like A-Lo

Live like A-Lo. from Carlee Holmoe on Vimeo.

I have played soccer my whole life. Since I was seven, I played on MANY teams with a girl named Ashley. “A-Lo,” as we called her, is such a fun girl! She has always been into fashion- rockin’ outfits we all wish we could. Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer. We were all shocked. The invincible, funny, strong girl we all knew was forced to be vulnerable and helpless. Fortunately, A-Lo is a fighter. Through Chemo and Radiation, Ash has kept her sense of humor, and her loving traits. She has been so positive and kept a smile on her face. We spent the afternoon making cupcakes. Luckily, I had my camera out to capture a little bit of her glow. Life is precious. Never take the people you love for granted. Things can change at any given point. We are blessed that Ashley is the same Ashley we all love. If you have 1 minute and 28 seconds, press play above!

I had so much fun photographing Hallie. She is one of the funniest, most genuine people. She also has a sweet style and gorgeous hair!

Walls of art

There is a local burrito joint that has the coolest style. The feel of this place is awesome. Yeah the food is great, (the first time I went I learned the lesson that you don't go to a burrito place and order a salad.. not my best decision) but I love their walls. Every time I go in there I am convinced that I am going to go home and plaster pictures all over a wall in my home. But then I remember we rent. And have a landlord. Boo. Anyways- I hope this makes you as happy as it makes me!

Europe

EUROPE from Carlee Holmoe on Vimeo.

Our team went to Europe together to play some international teams. We were also able to explore and bring our families on an adventure. We went to Switzerland, Prague, Austria, Germany, and Salzburg. It was so much fun! I loved being apart of their culture and learning so much more about ours. I was looking through my pictures and videos and found all of these clips from my dad’s camera. Its just a short video that captures a little bit of the joy we found in Europe!
