The Traveler's Guide to San Francisco

Walk / Ride your bike across the golden gate.

Baker Beach is THE perfect spot with an incredible view of the golden gate bridge (sweet pictures- but be careful to venture too far- nudies!)

BOB’S DONUTS. I repeat, BOB’S DONUTS.

Go checkout the Redwood Forest (Muir Wood is gorgeous).

Pier 39- (the famous seals, cool shops, street entertainment, salt water taffys, trish’s mini donuts, bubba gumps, etc.) fairly tourist spot but I still think it's still fun.

Boudine’s restaurant upstairs is on point.

Vintage arcade games @ Musee Mecanique (sometimes we go there while we wait for a table at Boudine's).

Clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl is kind of a must.

Go to Ghirardelli Square and indulge in THE best sundaes- a little pricey though
^^ also Bi-Rite ice cream. Holy yum.

The vintage / thrift shops on Haight and Ashbury (upper Haight).

SUPER DUPER BURGERS are seriously super duper.

If there is a Niner or Giants game- you gotta go. Don’t like sports? I don’t care.

Mozzeria is a restaurant where the waiters / chefs are deaf. Really cool experience and really good food.

Ever ridden a cable car? If not- you should. #tourist

Picnic at golden gate park (bring a blanket!).

Did I mention BOB'S DONUTS?!?

Have kids? The Exploratorium is rad. Or go without kids- I loved it!

Breakfast at Mama’s or Dottie’s True Blue Cafe.

Escape to Alcatraz. It’s as cool as it sounds.

Market Street SHOPPING.

The San Francisco Farmer’s Market.

Lombard street- one time is plenty……

Want a good hike? Lands End Trail.

I love any play going on at Orpheum Theatre.

PIZZA- Pizzeria Delfina, Una Pizza Napoletana, or Pizzetta 211.

Union square is pretty- especially during the Holidays.

You guys... BOB'S DONUTS.

below are some pictures i have taken in SF. all are mentioned above. i hope you love this city as much as i do! no matter where i go- it will always have a piece of my heart.

the land of the free

memorial day weekend was good to us. after putting all these pictures up, I started thinking about how lucky we are to live in a free country. we can do the things we want, say the things we feel, and have our own beliefs and faiths. I am truly thankful for the USA and all those who have fought for our freedom. #merica. so it was hot this weekend. much needed vitamin D. the boys had a golf tourney and i watched my favorite movie (About Time). i watch it while danny is away so he doesn't get too sick of it. utah is a great spot for a hike, a long run, and some tennis. keri and ted were good. well played y'all. during this memorial day weekend, we also got to enjoy some good food. DUH. sushi @ happy sumo, pizza @ pizzeria 712, and barbecue @ the Gee's. i also want to note that i have a patient husband who let me pull out my henna from india and doodle on him. quarter sleeve.. probably helps with his street cred. you're welcome.

the next step to make the US an even better place..
PERMANENT THREE DAY WEEKENDS.

we're getting pretty good at this whole sleepover thing. our girls nights are always pretty classic. our agenda: park city main street, purchased navajo bracelets, thai food at bankok thai, walk with tiny, sneaking diet coke into the movie theater, painting our nails at 1:30 am. different-color-for-each-nail. we are 12 at heart. felt necessary for the slumber party. good laughs, good food, & good company. thanks ker for another successful night. im gonna miss your face when you become a gypsy for 3 months traveling the world. sistas fo life yo.
