I have played soccer my whole life. Since I was seven, I
played on MANY teams with a girl named Ashley. “A-Lo,” as we called her, is
such a fun girl! She has always been into fashion- rockin’ outfits we all wish
we could. Recently, she was diagnosed with cancer. We were all shocked. The
invincible, funny, strong girl we all knew was forced to be vulnerable and
helpless. Fortunately, A-Lo is a fighter. Through Chemo and Radiation, Ash has
kept her sense of humor, and her loving traits. She has been so positive and
kept a smile on her face. We spent the afternoon making cupcakes. Luckily, I
had my camera out to capture a little bit of her glow. Life is precious. Never
take the people you love for granted. Things can change at any given point. We
are blessed that Ashley is the same Ashley we all love. If you have 1 minute
